How the Cleveland Bar Became Segregated: A Lecture at the ACLU

The ACLU of Ohio will host Case Western Reserve University School of Law professor Robert Strassfeld for a discussion on his research titled "How the Cleveland Bar Became Segregated" on Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 7:00 pm at the Max Wohl Civil Liberties Center, 4506 Chester Ave.

Professor Strassfeld will present historical information about the history of African American lawyers in Cleveland and examine their role and status in the city during the early 20th century. A professor at CWRU School of Law, Strassfeld teaches classes on the federal courts, labor law, and legal history. Currently, Strassfeld is also conducting research on the legal history of the Vietnam War.
