Geauga County Seeking Historic Eagles

In 1906, organizers of the 100th birthday party for Geauga County commissioned the making of 10 plaster of Paris eagles, each about 3 feet high and 4 feet long. Afterwards the eagles were put in storage to await the bicentennial this year, but now they're nowhere to be found and County officials have put out the call for help in locating them, if they have survived.
